Final Project
Sorry that i am uber late on all online and some other assignments. I was really not sure what I was planning on doing. I put this off long enough and sat down and really thought it out. For my final project i would like to change how you look at things or what you may be looking at by using extreme close ups or change where the focus is, challenging ones perspective on the image. I am hoping you cannot tell what you are seeing unless told or do not see everything at once and need to keep coming back to the image.

Dissagreement
Sorry this is a bit late but here it is.
Anna bellas picture of the football statue could be something she does not like. Unlike what we discussed saying it looks to nice to get that kind of feeling that she may hate it. The thing is we have that person looking at it and the shoulder of the other man in the corner of the picture which means she did not really frame this up or really care what was going on around this statue she just wanted to take the picture and move on. It did come out more colorful then she probably hoped but in her rush and non caring of the subject we get that from the somewhat poor framing of the mans shoulder.
Sandy's Picture on the swings was a good photo but i feel as though her sister took away from the photo. With her crazy face compared to what was happening if she was cropped out or not even there this photo would have taken on a whole new meaning. Where this father was standing and swinging as his kid watched on possibly even walking behind him which would send him flying into the air.
And Lastly Maria with the dog photo. I feel as though it was on the dark side. I did not even realize there was a dog in the photo at first. And the fact that i talked about how the dog was waiting for the phone was for the fact that i saw the phone first then the dog waiting by it. If you had better lighting on the dog it may have put a different feel onto it. I know it may have been the projector but thats what i think.

Hi my name is Kevin O'Brien. This is my final year at Montclair. I was originally a photo major but switched over to film my second semester of my first year. I am very interested in cameras, film both for movies and stills as well as digital stuff. I am not a big fan of photoshop and try not to alter my photos that much. I am trying to learn it a bit more just so i know how to use it but shy away from it. The reason i switched was to be able to carry an image over more then just a single shot and see if i can carry that look over an entire movie. I took the only course my high school offered for photography like 4 times because it was fun and the teacher was impressed it was only an intro course but it was time for me to learn my camera and just shoot randomly. I have taken photo 1 here at MSU and am also taking photo 2 right now along with this class. For this class i will be using my Canon 7D I have 2 lenses for it right now a canon 28-135 f/3.5-5.6 and a tokina 11-16 f/2.8. I have shot with many different cameras from konica minolta, nikon, fujifilm, canon. My favorite music: is Flogging Molly but i do listen to a bunch of stuff, Food: sushi, Movie: beetlejuice, Book: One by Richard Bach, TV Show: Psych, Photographer: Dr. Harold Edgerton. The image uploaded is the first photo i ever took with my first camera which was a Konica Minolta Z2 4 megapix camera. I realized that this is something i could do. It may not be the first image i ever took but it was the first one with my camera and i was testing it out even before taking classes I did not know what i was going to do after high school but i just knew after my first day of shooting that maybe i can do something.
